This pen sac system does not use a metal bar. The sac still is mounted on the grip section. The sac is compressed by pushing a metal rod over it from the barrelīs end. The sudden reduction of volume in the inside builds up a pressure, pressing the sac which regulates the difference in pressure by drawing air or ink through the feed
